What this service covers
A mapping mission replaces days of ground survey with a single morning of flight. Programmed grids capture thousands of overlapping images, which we process into orthomosaic maps, digital surface models, contour lines, and volumetrics — all tied to ground control points for verified accuracy.
The result is a measurable model of your site: distances, areas, elevations, and cut-fill volumes you can query, share, and build on.
- Orthomosaic maps down to 1 cm ground sampling distance
- Contour lines, DTM/DSM elevation models, and slope analysis
- Stockpile and earthwork volumetrics with cut-fill reports
- Construction progress overlays against design drawings
- Boundary checks, encroachment evidence, and land records support
Who books this flight
Civil contractors, surveyors, mine operators, farmers planning drainage, and developers who need trustworthy numbers — not just pretty pictures.
Data You Can Build On
01Ground control network
Surveyed GCPs and checkpoints anchor every map to real coordinates with a written accuracy report.
02Orthomosaic & elevation models
Seamless georeferenced imagery plus surface models ready for CAD, GIS, and BIM tools.
03Contours & volumetrics
Publication-ready contour plans and stockpile volumes with methodology notes your engineers can audit.
04Progress comparisons
Repeat flights overlaid on baselines and design files, so change is visible at a glance.
"Their volumes matched our ground survey within a percent — and took a tenth of the time on site."
— Marcus T., Earthworks ManagerFrom Airspace to Answer
Define the outputs
Resolution, accuracy class, formats, and coordinate system agreed before anyone flies.
Set control & fly
GCPs surveyed, grids programmed, and the site captured with proper overlaps.
Process & verify
Photogrammetry processing with checkpoint residuals published in the report.
Deliver & brief
Files plus a walkthrough call so your team can use the data on day one.
Mapping Questions
How accurate is drone mapping, really?+
With ground control, routinely 1–3 cm horizontal and 2–5 cm vertical. Without control, expect 1–3 meters. We always state which class your deliverable meets.
What formats do we receive?+
GeoTIFF orthomosaics, LAS point clouds, DXF contours, and PDF plan sheets as standard — plus web-viewer links for stakeholders without GIS software.
Can you repeat the survey monthly?+
Yes — monitoring plans lock the same flight lines and control so every epoch compares cleanly. Most construction clients fly monthly or after major earthworks.
Measure twice, fly once.
Send us your site boundary and required accuracy — we will return a fixed flight plan and price.
